Hope Fest: Back-to-School Bash

The Orlando Dream Center is hosting a Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 2nd, at BridgePrep Academy from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Volunteers are needed. See details below outlining the day:

 Event Set-Up Team

Arrival Time: 11:00 AM
Role Summary: Help transform the event space by setting up tables, tents, and designated stations.
Responsibilities:
    •    Unload and carry event supplies to assigned areas
    •    Set up folding tables, chairs, tablecloths, and signage
    •    Assist other teams as needed with preparation
    •    Help make the space welcoming and organized

 Backpack Distribution Team

Arrival Time: 11:00 AM
Role Summary: Organize and hand out backpacks to students during the event.
Responsibilities:
    •    Sort backpacks by group (as assigned)
    •    Ensure backpacks are stocked and ready before distribution time
    •    Greet families with kindness and assist in choosing appropriate bags
    •    Keep the area tidy and report when quantities are running low


 School Supply Station Team

Arrival Time: 11:00 AM
Role Summary: Assist in organizing, displaying, and replenishing school supplies throughout the event.
Responsibilities:
    •    Unpack and set up school supplies by type (notebooks, pencils, etc.)
    •    Help fill backpacks with supplies if needed
    •    Guide children and families through the station
    •    Keep tables neat, restocked, and welcoming
